SCC Baseball would like to take this time to welcome you to the Southeastern Blackhawk baseball family. Over the past few years, the Southeastern Baseball program has operated a Diamond Club to allow our players to have the best college baseball experience possible. In keeping with tradition, our staff would like to extend the opportunity for you to support Blackhawks Baseball.
The SCC Baseball Diamond Club is used to support our spring 2019 travel schedule. Your generous contribution will be directly used for weekend trips to: Mississippi, Millington, Tennessee, Independence, Kansas, and a swing through the Southeast (Alabama, Mississippi) on spring break. These trips are a great asset to Blackhawk Baseball from both a recruiting, and competitive standpoint. After two months of indoor practice, these trips allow our club to prepare for our conference season, and compete with traditional conference rivals such as NIACC, Kirkwood, Iowa Central, and DMACC. In addition, this trip exposes potential recruiters to the Southeastern Baseball program and serves as a great way for our players to be seen in other regions of the country, gaining opportunities to further advance their baseball careers.
Over the past 12 seasons we have accumulated 473 wins (2nd most wins in Iowa Junior College Baseball), 3 conference regular season titles, and in 2014 a trip to the NJCAA World Series in Enid, Oklahoma. We look once again with great anticipation toward the 2018 season. The 2018 Hawks are looking to continue the proud tradition that SCC baseball has built for over the past 20 years. This group is working hard to improve upon a 2017 season in which we won 43 games and were regional runner ups. They hope to realize the dream of returning to the World Series.
The Blackhawk coaches and players thank you for your time, and greatly appreciate your support. We look forward to seeing you at the yard this spring!
