Softball All-Region Winners Announced
The 2026 Region 11 Division I Softball All-Region lists were announced Tuesday. The honorees and special award winners represent some of the best performers in the conference this season.
Defensive Player of the Year went to Southeastern's Logan Kelley, who locked down the infield. In 50 games played this season, Kelley had 207 chances, 147 putouts and 38 assists. The freshman was a commanding presence, with many opportunities in games sent her way. Kelley had an outstanding bat as well -- she hit 20 home runs with 62 RBIs, while hitting .434 and slugging .909.
Southeastern had four players selected to First Team All-Region in addition to Kelley. Outfielder Lydia Zaruba posted a .383 batting average this year and had 49 hits, scoring 37 runs. Utility player Anna Woods was top 10 in the conference in three categories, including her 44 RBIs this season.
Rounding out the Blackhawks' First Team honorees are pitcher Araceli Rivas and catcher Jaimee Bolduc. Rivas had a 2.78 ERA and led the conference in strikeouts (177), strikeouts per game (9.65) and shutouts (7) with 15 complete games. Bolduc was sixth in the conference in both batting average (.414) and on-base percentage (.481), while defensively posting a .966 fielding percentage from behind the plate with 185 putouts on 208 chances.
Second Team honorees were catcher Tatum Goerdt and infielders Makenzie Sweeney and Keira Klum.
